    Lisa's coaching adventure in gymnastics started in 1995, marking a multifaceted athletic journey that includes involvement in various sports such as college track and field, softball, soccer, and even women's professional football. Despite her diverse athletic background, Lisa's unwavering passion has always been gymnastics. During her youth, her love for gymnastics was profound, although financial constraints limited her access to lessons until high school, when the gymnastics team was established as a sport. Determined and hardworking, Lisa's commitment culminated in her senior year, where she earned the prestigious MVP title within her team. Driven by her experiences, Lisa harbors a profound aspiration: to give all kids access to gymnastics, ensuring inclusivity regardless of age or economic status. Her tenure at Era, a non-profit organization, serves as a pivotal platform in realizing this goal, giving her the opportunity to make gymnastics accessible to all who desire participation, aligning with her deeply rooted belief in inclusivity within the sport.

    Director of Operations / Competitive Team Coach / Cheer Coach

    Since 2014, Kelsey has been actively engaged in coaching gymnastics and cheerleading, drawing from her extensive background as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader during her formative years. As the former cheer captain of her college team, she brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her instructional role. Kelsey harbors a genuine passion for guiding children towards their objectives, fostering their growth in gymnastics. She is enthusiastic about imparting the significance of visualization techniques, emphasizing the profound impact of mental preparedness on their achievements.

    Competitive Team Coach

    Since 2013, Jamie has devoted herself to coaching gymnastics, drawing upon her extensive experience as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader spanning from ages 6 to 18. Her coaching responsibilities encompass guiding our bronze and silver level team. Jamie possesses a distinct talent for recognizing the latent potential within competitive gymnasts, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages their growth and skill development.     Amber delved into tumbling and gymnastics during her formative years. Her coaching journey in gymnastics started in 2022, focusing her expertise on guiding young children between the ages of 3 and 7. An exceptional quality that sets her apart is her innate ability to connect with her inner child while coaching, a quality that significantly aids her in effectively instructing younger children.     Meet Wren, a dedicated gymnastics coach whose journey in the sport began at the tender age of 3. With a passion ignited early on, Wren progressed through the ranks, competing up to level 8 in gymnastics. His skills were honed through club gymnastics at UCLA, where he immersed himself in the rigorous training environment. Transitioning from athlete to mentor, Wren has dedicated over 7 years to coaching gymnastics. His educational background is equally impressive, holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology and currently pursuing a Master's in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Athletic Leadership. For Wren, coaching isn't just a profession but a calling. He believes in passing down his deep knowledge and unwavering passion for gymnastics to the next generation. In addition to her success in equestrian vaulting, Elyse has a rich background in cheerleading, having been a dedicated cheerleader for three years. This experience has further honed her leadership abilities and team spirit, qualities she brings to her role at Era Gymnastics.     From ages 5 to 7, Taylor engaged in gymnastics before dedicating herself to club soccer from 7 to 18 years old, alongside competitive cross country and track from ages 9 to 17. Her coaching journey in gymnastics started at the onset of 2023. Having grown up with four younger siblings, Taylor unearthed a passion for mentoring and coaching children, a passion that fuels her commitment to guiding and inspiring her students. Her genuine joy lies in the valuable moments spent with her students, aiming to cultivate and enhance their passion for gymnastics, fostering a deeper connection to the sport.

Currently a senior at Cal State Fullerton, Amira has transitioned her athletic prowess to track and field, earning a scholarship to compete in the 100-meter hurdles for the Titans. Amira cherishes the opportunity to let her playful side shine when interacting with kids. Additionally, she played soccer for six years, from ages 5 to 11, which helped her develop a well-rounded approach to sports and physical fitness. With her unique background in team sports and her natural affinity for working with children, Abby is excited to continue her coaching career and help young athletes succeed both in gymnastics and in life.

    Sophia is a passionate gymnastics coach with over 11 years of experience in the sport, both as a competitive gymnast and a coach. Having competed through Level 9 and trained at Level 10, Sophia has a deep understanding of the demands of the sport and a strong technical foundation. Her favorite events were vault and floor, where she excelled, earning the highest scores in vault and ranking among the top 100 gymnasts in Southern California. This enthusiasm for the sport drives her coaching, as she strives to share that excitement with her athletes and inspire them to reach their full potential. Sophia believes that gymnastics is not only about physical skill but also about building confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset, which she encourages in all of her students.     From the tender age of 5 until 11, Kenzi was a competitive gymnast, transitioning seamlessly to competitive dance from 11 through 18 years old, showcasing her versatile skill set. Her gymnastics journey culminated in an impressive all-around score of 38.225, a testament to her dedication in the sport. Embarking on her coaching path in 2022, Kenzi's passion for guiding young minds propels her towards aspiring to become an elementary school teacher. Her expertise shines through in tumbling and dance techniques, where she specializes. Kenzi lends her guidance not only to our adult gymnastics class but also to various recreational classes, imparting her knowledge and fostering growth across diverse skill levels. Her multifaceted background and commitment to nurturing individuals of all ages contributes significantly to Era Gymnastics.

    Rachel has dedicated most of her life to competitive cheerleading, culminating in her role as cheer captain in high school. She was honored as the best teammate for two consecutive years. Upon graduating from High School, she achieved the California State Seal of Civic Engagement for her exceptional community service and excellence in social studies. Rachel has been an active member of the National Charity League (NCL) of Fullerton for five years, contributing over 500 hours of community service. Rachel finds great fulfillment in working with children, helping them develop not only as gymnasts but also as individuals.
