Our Policies
Tuition:
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and becomes late after the 7th. A $5 late fee is billed the morning of the 8th. If tuition is not received by the 20th, your child will not be allowed to attend class until the payment has been received. Classes are billed at the beginning of each month. We charge $99 for a once a week class based on a 4-week month. All additional classes or siblings receive a $10.00 discount. On months where Era is opened for 5-week classes, tuition will be charged for the additional class. On months where Era is opened for 3-week classes, Era will prorate tuition for the month.
Era accepts payments by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. Please always make cash payments directly to an office employee who will provide you with a receipt. Checks should be made payable to Era Gymnastics. Be sure your child’s name and home telephone number is noted on your check so that proper credit will be given to your account.
Your child will be enrolled and billed for their class until we are notified about a class-time change or cancellation. It is the customer’s responsibility to cancel their child’s enrollment.
Auto-Pay:
Auto-pay is run on the 1st of each month. It can be set up through our parent portal. Be sure to go into your settings and select Auto-pay as your membership type. It is the customer’s responsibility to cancel auto-pay.
Make-Up Lessons:
Era offers a make-up program as a courtesy to our customers. If your child/children miss a class you are not required to make it up, however we do make them available to you. After your child misses a class (we do not schedule prior to the class being missed), you may contact the front office to schedule a make-up lesson. Please be prepared to provide our office staff with the date your child missed. Make-ups are available every Saturday at 12:45pm.
Make-ups need to be scheduled within 30 days of your missed class and made up within 90 days of the missed class. Your child must be currently enrolled to do a make-up class. If you need to cancel a make-up lesson, contact our front office at least 24 hours prior to the lesson. Otherwise, we consider the class made up and you may not re-schedule.
Make-ups can only be taken when your child is currently enrolled, and your tuition is paid to date. If your child/children leave the program or takes a leave of absence, make-ups are forfeited. We do not prorate or credit for missed classes.
Cancellation or Leave of Absence:
Your child is enrolled, and you are billed every month for their class until we are notified of a cancellation. If you decide to take a break or leave our program, please notify the front office before the end of your last full month. If you do not contact the front office, your account will be charged, you will be considered a NO SHOW, and your balance will need to be cleared.
Leave of Absence: A 3 month leave of absence (LOA) is offered to students who are leaving Era’s program on a temporary basis. Your must notify the font office before the end of your last full month. Your child will be dropped from class and their spot will not be saved. When you are ready to return contact the front office to re-enroll in our program. If your previous class is not available, then you may need to be put on a wait list. You can also accept a position into another time or day. Make-up lessons are forfeited when taking a leave of absence or dropping our program. The annual trophy date will start over when the student returns.
Gym Attire:
Girls should wear leotards and boys should wear stretchy shorts with a t-shirt tucked in. Stomachs should be covered at all times. Girls in cheer/tumbling classes may wear pull-on shorts/pants and a modest shirt tucked in. Please no short shorts, bare midriffs, spaghetti straps, or low tops. Children may not wear any clothing with belts, buckles, rivets or buttons. Long hair should be pulled back into a ponytail and jewelry must be removed. Parents, please be sure to do the following for your child prior to class: 1) pull long hair back into a pony tail 2) remove jewelry 3) cover cuts/warts with a band aid 4) please do not bring your child to class if they have a fever or contagious illness.
